WEATHERSFIELD, Ohio (WKBN) — Officers with the Weathersfield Police Department spoke to a woman seeking medical treatment at the hospital Wednesday night for injuries she described to police as a result of an attempt to purchase marijuana gone wrong.
Police met the woman who reported the assault at the hospital shortly before midnight Wednesday, noting she had bloody scrapes on her knees and elbow, was bleeding from an open cut on her mouth, and bruising around her eyes.
