Pinellas County Jail earns national accreditation for correctional health care

PINELLAS COUNTY, Florida — The Pinellas County Jail has been awarded accreditation from the National Commission on Correctional Health Care (NCCHC) as of February 6, 2026.

The accreditation follows a comprehensive on-site review conducted from January 28-30, 2026, and will remain valid until January 2029.
