Columbus murder suspect pleads not guilty in October shooting death

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) – One of three suspects charged in connection with the October shooting death of a 40-year-old Columbus man pleaded not guilty in Recorders Court today.

Ka’Sean Huff appeared in court on charges including murder and armed robbery in the death of William Tatum. The shooting occurred at Tatum’s home on October 10, 2025.

According to Sergeant Demetrius Battle with the Columbus Police Department, doorbell footage shows Tatum pulling into his driveway around 8 p.m. Seconds later, another car pulls in behind him, and two men are seen walking out with guns and duffle bags.
