Duo charged in freezing husky’s death held for court

The Erie man and woman charged in the death of Aimee, a husky found frozen and abandoned in the cold, appeared in Erie County Court on Thursday.

According to online court documents, 26-year-old Tori Jackna and 23-year-old Scott Bayle appeared before District Judge Edward Wilson for a preliminary and bail hearing.

Court records show that both waived all their charges for court.

Jackna is charged with one count each of felony aggravated cruelty to animals, along with misdemeanor making false reports to law enforcement, neglect of and cruelty to animals.
