CHARLESTON, S.C. (Palmetto Life) — A Charleston area clinic is offering preventive full-body MRI scans to detect health conditions before symptoms appear.
MRI Wellness has been providing preventive proactive full-body evaluations for about three or four years, said Dr. Edward Tavel. The clinic uses MRI technology to examine the entire human body.
“We realized that we see a lot more under the skin than we can pick up with routine yearly physical exams and lab work,” Dr. Tavel said.
Who can benefit from preventive MRI scans
The clinic serves three main patient populations. The first group includes people focused on preventive health who want to stay healthy. The second consists of patients who feel something is wrong but cannot get answers from their family doctor.
