JACKSONVILLE, Florida – A violent carjacking on a Sunday night ended in a fiery crash that left one woman injured and a 1-year-old temporarily trapped inside a stolen vehicle, police said.
District 4 Patrol officers responded February 8, 2026, to a report of a forceful carjacking on 103rd Street. Authorities said a suspect drove off in the stolen vehicle with the victim’s 1-year-old child still in the back seat.
