LANCASTER, Pa. — A Lancaster man accused of stabbing another man during a fight earlier this year will proceed to trial after waiving his preliminary hearing, the Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office said this week.
Matthew Albert Rowley, 35, is charged with attempted homicide, aggravated assault, prohibited possession of a weapon and carrying a firearm without a license in connection to a Jan. 7 incident in Columbia, prosecutors said.
According to police, Rowley and the 27-year-old victim got involved in a fight on the first block of South Sixth Street at about 10:30 p.m. Witnesses reported that during the fight, Rowley brandished a firearm and fired a single shot that did not hit anyone…
