Fire damages home in Pawtucket

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WPRI) — Officials are investigating the cause of a house fire in Pawtucket.

Pawtucket Fire Capt. Jeff Johnson said crews were called to Central Avenue around 9:30 a.m. Thursday, where flames were coming from a breezeway on the left side of the home.

A person who was inside at the time made it out safely, but was taken to the hospital for evaluation. Johnson said three people live in the home — one was at school and another was at work when the fire broke out. No injuries to pets or firefighters were reported…
