Sign up for free CERT training in Ventura

The Ventura Police Department is inviting 40 residents to join the next Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training program. This free, six-week course teaches how to protect your neighborhood and help responders during emergencies.

Classes will be held on Thursdays, April 2 – May 7, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Ventura Police HQ, 1425 Dowell Dr. The final drill will take place on Saturday, May 9, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Ventura County Fire Training Center. Applications are due by March 31
