NYPD Bomb Squad deems device non-hazardous after major response in Annadale on Staten Island

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The NYPD Bomb Squad determined that a device was not hazardous after the item was found outside a home in Annadale on Thursday morning.

Police responded at about 4:30 a.m. to a 911 call of a suspicious package in front of 106 Edgegrove Ave. near Arden Avenue, according to a statement from the NYPD’s Deputy Commissioner of Public Information.
