Florida man arrested, charged after woman dies of fentanyl overdose in Alpharetta

ALPHARETTA, Ga. — A Florida man was arrested for selling drugs that left a woman dead, according to Alpharetta Police.

In August of 2024, officers in Alpharetta were called to a LaQuinta Inn located at 1350 North Point Drive for a call of a possible overdose. When they arrived, they found Stephanie Reis unconscious on the floor in a hotel room.

They began performing CPR until medical personnel arrived and transported Reis to North Fulton Medical, where she was later pronounced dead…
