MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – An investigation at Monona Grove High School uncovered nearly $40,000 in fraud by a former administrative assistant.
The Monona Grove School District said in an email to families that the employee most likely made $38,000 in fraudulent purchases from 2023 and 2025.
The employee, who was the administrative assistant to the principal, resigned from the district before the internal investigation started. The individual’s last day of work was Oct. 9, 2025.
