HOUSTON — Friends and family of a Houston barber killed in a drive-by shooting last summer say they are hopeful for justice after a suspect was charged this week.
Paul “Junebug” Stevenson, 48, was killed last July during a shooting outside a club he ran on Dixie Drive. Another person also died in the incident, while 15 others were injured.
Curvis Lenton, 24, was charged with capital murder and appeared in court Thursday. Prosecutors say Lenton opened fire into a crowd from inside a car. There are at least three other co-defendants in the case, according to prosecutors…
