A SUDDEN change to a long-since established parking rule has result in hundreds of drivers unexpectedly losing their cars.
Not only did local drivers suffer as a result of the unexpected parking rule change, but so too did businesses whose traffic was significantly impacted.
The change was made just weeks before the first major weekend of Mardi Gras parades, which the parking rule in question is specifically in place for.
