APPLETON, Wis. (WFRV) – A new initiative at ThedaCare hospitals is focusing its efforts on increasing comfort and dignity for patients.
The ThedaCARESClothing Closet started out from the idea of ThedaCare employees who recognized that patients who are rushed to the hospital often sustain clothing damage as a result of medical procedures.

“It was brought to our team, and we saw a way to potentially solve the problem,” Care Management Social Work Lead Amy Mitchell said. “We worked with our community and our ThedaCare foundation team, who generously provided a $25,000 grant to get us started.”
