A new extended-stay hotel is being planned for the former Eye Clinic of Bellevue property in the city’s Wilburton neighborhood.
Seattle-based developer Kauri Investments purchased the property at 1300 116th Ave. NE in July 2024 for $6.75 million. Recent filings with the City of Bellevue indicate the company has selected Hyatt House as the hotel brand for the redevelopment. Hyatt House locations feature suite-style accommodations with full kitchens, catering to guests staying for extended periods.
According to city records, the proposal calls for an eight-story hotel building with 174 guest rooms. The project would include 132 parking stalls across two below-grade parking levels and one above-grade level. Plans also feature a hotel lobby, bar, and dining area, and a fitness space for guests…
