ROCKVILLE, Md. (DC News Now) — The 16-year-old suspect in this week’s shooting at Wootton High School remains held without bond at the Montgomery County Detention Center following Wednesday’s bail hearing before District Judge Michael Glenn.
Khalil White Villatoro is charged with attempted second-degree murder, first-degree assault and various gun charges. DC News Now chose to release his name since Villatoro was charged as an adult.
“He is here in adult court because of the crimes that he committed,” said Maryland State Attorney John McCarthy following the hearing.
