ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — One of downtown Asheville’s busiest streets will soon see improvements as the city plans to replace sidewalks along both sides of Lexington Avenue.
The city says the brick sidewalks, a defining feature of the corridor, have deteriorated over the years, creating uneven surfaces, lifted bricks and missing sections.
