BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCIV) — A 48-year-old woman is facing charges after allegedly stealing a South Carolina Education Lottery scratch-off ticket to redeem to pay rent.
According to charging documents from the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division, Tillie R. Ogden, between Nov. 30 and Dec. 1 of last year, redeemed the stolen lottery tickets at a Food Lion located on North Main Street in Summerville.
At the time, she was employed at a Piggly Wiggly located on Highway 78 in Ladson, where she was captured on video allegedly stealing the tickets while working on Nov. 30…
