JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ohio — A Cleveland man caught with nearly three kilograms of cocaine after a traffic stop and chase in Jefferson County has been sentenced to more than a decade in prison.
James Blackwell was sentenced to 11 to 16 and a half years in prison in Jefferson County. Authorities said Blackwell’s vehicle was stopped by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and that he attempted to flee during the stop. The pursuit ended when he crashed into an apartment building on Sherman Avenue in Steubenville.
