CLEVELAND — The trial of former Cleveland area church worship director Andres Andino entered its third day Thursday, with Cuyahoga County prosecutors calling their final witnesses and the defense beginning to present its case.
Andino, 60, faces two counts of sexual battery, two counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor and one count of rape. He is accused of sexually abusing a teenage music student between 2013 and 2018.
At the time of his arrest in 2025, Andino was the worship director for St. John Bosco Catholic Church in Parma Heights and was also employed part time at St. Joseph Parish in Avon Lake while additionally volunteering for several other churches and groups across the Diocese of Cleveland.
