MURDOCK — Charlotte County is moving ahead with an upgrade for a busy portion of Kings Highway.
County commissioners approved a contract with Wright Construction Group of Fort Myers to widen Kings Highway from two to four lanes from Sandhill Boulevard, north to the DeSoto County line.
