(Indianapolis, IN)–Wayne County leaders were in the state capital again this week to keep the opportunity alive for the county to be the location for a new casino. On Wednesday, the Senate Public Policy Committee took testimony on a proposed amendment that would have removed Wayne County from potential sites. There was no vote on the amendment. Melissa Vance, who is the CEO of the Wayne County Area Chamber of Commerce, led a contingent of a dozen Wayne County supporters who pleaded their case.
