NASSAU COUNTY, Florida – An hours-long standoff in Callahan ended early Thursday when deputies found a barricaded man dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded around 4 p.m. Wednesday, February 11, 2026, to a residence on Jessica Place after Kenneth William Presgraves contacted the Sheriff’s Office Communications Center regarding his wife being at the home. Authorities said Presgraves claimed she was attempting to get him into further trouble.
