JESSAMINE COUNTY, Ky. (FOX 56) — Operators of the Valley View Ferry closed the service on Thursday, Feb. 12, due to high water levels.
Officials said by Wednesday afternoon that the portion of the Kentucky River that the ferry crossed was “being unpredictable.“

The decision to close the ferry was made around 6 a.m. on Feb. 12.
