Woman Struck, Killed After Crash Caused By UPS Truck In Newark: Prosecutor

At 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 11, Newark police responded to Chancellor Avenue and Fabyan Place after a UPS truck traveling northbound collided with a vehicle traveling westbound on Chancellor Avenue, Essex County Prosecutor Theodore Stephens II said

Following the collision, the second vehicle struck two pedestrians who were walking westbound in the northern crosswalk of Chancellor Avenue toward Fabyan Place, Stephens said.

One of the pedestrians, Danielle Sadowski, was transported to University Hospital, where she was pronounced deceased at 1:18 a.m. on Thursday, Feb, 12, Stephens said…
