MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WDHN) — A controversial bill that could have implications for your power bills was taken off the Alabama House of Representatives schedule today.
State lawmakers did not vote on a bill that would take away voters’ ability to elect members of the Public Service Commission. There was not a clear answer today about why HB 359 was not voted on. The bill’s sponsor says they are still working on it.
