H Mart Cherry Hill has been closed since last summer for a full remodel. I recently stopped by and saw that the new signage is now up, and workers are very actively completing the exterior brickwork.
As for an opening timeframe, we still don’t have a confirmed date. However, H Mart has had job listings posted online since June of last year, and it appears that job sites such as Indeed have recently refreshed those postings, which could suggest progress toward reopening.
On an more “ugh” side of things;… The H Mart website has a “Store Openings” section of their Our Story page that highlights both Grand Openings and coming soon locations.. and Cherry Hill hasn’t made the list yet!
I’ve also recently uncovered several of the restaurants planned for the new H Mart Market Eatery in Cherry Hill, which I’ll recap below. Overall, this post is primarily to share updated photos, as the new signage feels like a meaningful milestone.
Also, a widely read post on Reddit called into question the status of this location… well during my visit yesterday, the exterior of the building appeared about 95% complete. More significant a large crew of probably 10 people were finishing the exterior brickwork in two different areas of the upper level…
