HOBE SOUND, Fla. (CBS12) — A peaceful Friday walk near a popular Hobe Sound park turned violent when a fostered pit bull mix escaped a home and fatally attacked a small dog, according to the Martin County Sheriff’s Office.
The deadly mauling happened near Zeus Park in the historic Olympia neighborhood, a spot neighbors say is typically calm and petfriendly.
