NDOT reveals designs for I-80 freeway interchange in Gretna

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – Nebraska Department of Transportation officials unveiled five design options Wednesday night for a new freeway interchange planned near Vala’s Pumpkin Patch, aimed at relieving congestion at the existing Interstate 80 intersections with Highway 370 and Highway 31.

The preferred design features two roundabouts and would preserve much of the current road configuration, with an estimated construction cost of about $30 million.

The hope is to finalize all the approvals and plans for this project this year, then greenlight construction for 2027…
