After an Avondale man was jailed in rash of armed robberies, authorities say his brother cooked up and executed a deadly plan to commit more holdups to get the cash needed to bond him out.
A Jefferson Parish jury convicted Damon Bryant, 26, and Destin Smith, 28, in the robbery sprees, and on Tuesday, they were sentenced to hundreds of years in prison, according to the Jefferson Parish District Attorney’s Office.
