A New Orleans man was arrested on Wednesday after he allegedly stole over $100,000 from the Lockport company he worked for, according to the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Marcus Smith, 50, is accused of writing over 28 checks to himself over the last three years, officials said, embezzling thousands of dollars from the business.
