The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office recognized two dispatchers on their social media for exemplary service in an incident involving a child burn victim last month.
On January 30, Lyon County Dispatchers Elizabeth Waid and Sarah Walker got an emergency call about an 11-year-old boy in Dayton who had badly burned himself, according to a post on Facebook from the LCSO.
