PUPUKEA, Hawaii (Island News) — A 28-year-old dirt bike rider was hospitalized after he collided with a vehicle near Waimea Bay on Thursday afternoon.
The accident happened on Kamehameha Highway in the Pupukea area at around 5.m. on Thursday, Feb. 12, 2026, according to first responders. The 28-year-old man crashed into a vehicle near Waimea Bay while riding a dirt bike.
Honolulu Emergency Medical Services treated him for leg injuries and took him to an emergency room in serious condition. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident…
