Murder, kidnapping charges filed against Akron man in Coshocton County

COSHOCTON − A Coshocton County grand jury has indicted an Akron man on multiple charges in connection with the Jan. 11 death of Nathan Ketterman.

Investigators allege Douglas Harvey stabbed Ketterman several times after two failed attempts to kill him and then left his dismembered body in Coshocton County.

Harvey, 44, has been indicted on two counts of aggravated murder and two counts of murder, all unclassified felonies; kidnapping, a first-degree felony; felonious assault, a second-degree felony; five counts of tampering with evidence, all third-degree felonies; aggravated possession of drugs, a third-degree felony, related to methamphetamine; and gross abuse of a corpse, a fifth-degree felony…
