Diesel exhaust evacuation pauses operations at Cleveland Clinic Akron General Ambulatory Care Center; no injuries reported

AKRON, Ohio — The Ambulatory Care Center at Cleveland Clinic Akron General was precautionarily evacuated Friday morning after exhaust from a diesel generator entered the building, Cleveland Clinic officials said.

The Akron Fire Department assessed all areas as a safety measure, according to Cleveland Clinic. The facility is expected to reopen for normal operations around noon.
