Lewisburg, Pa. — A 20-year-old Naval Academy student of Maryland was charged for allegedly raping a woman while visiting a friend at Bucknell University.
Matthew R. Simmons of Annapolis was charged with felony rape after Bucknell University Public Safety investigated the alleged incident from around Dec. 6.
Officer Baier met with the victim at Wellspan Evangelical Community Hospital on Dec. 10 after a sexual assault examination was done.
