SCEMD reports 2 more earthquakes rattle Ladson area

LADSON, S.C. (WCBD) – Another earthquake rattled the Ladson area late Wednesday and early Thursday, marking the fourth and fifth reported since the beginning of February, according to state emergency management officials.

The United States Geological Survey confirmed that a 2.4 magnitude earthquake struck near Centerville around 9 p.m., and a smaller tremor was recorded early Thursday morning.
