PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. – Pinellas County drivers are looking at a messy week on the asphalt as the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) rolls out an extensive list of lane closures from February 15 through February 21. Whether you are heading over the Skyway or just trying to grab groceries on US 19, your usual route is likely going to look a bit different.
Starting Sunday, commuters on I-275 and I-175 will see the orange cones come out after dark. For those heading north between 38th Avenue and Roosevelt Boulevard, expect lanes to thin out from 8:30 p.m. to 6 a.m. through Thursday night.
The I-175 stretch between 16th and 4th Streets South follows a similar pattern, kicking off at 7 p.m. and wrapping up by 7 a.m. the following morning.
