Ohio man awarded for Lake Erie drowning rescue

CLEVELAND (WJW) — It was an unseasonably warm day Dec. 18 in Cleveland last year — warm enough for Nathan Rosado to take a ride on his motorcycle.

Rosado typically records his rides with a 360-degree camera. During the ride, he stopped for a break at the East 9th Street Pier, a spot with a sweeping view of the city.

“I was just sitting on my bike when I noticed the man that was behind me,” Rosado said. “I was on the phone. I turn around, two minutes later, he’s completely gone.”…
