PHENIX CITY, AL—On March 5, Chattahoochee Valley Community College (CVCC) will hold its annual Hall of Fame awards celebration. This event honors individuals who have made significant contributions to their professions, communities, and CVCC through their exceptional work and achievements. CVCC proudly announces Natalie Kirkland, Russell County Revenue Commissioner, as a 2026 Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame inductee.
A Phenix City native and CVCC graduate, Kirkland has built a remarkable career in public service spanning two decades in Russell County. In 2024, she made history by becoming the first Black woman to serve as the county’s Revenue Commissioner, a milestone that reflects both her professional dedication and the community’s trust in her.
