Thieves Stole a Bunch of New Stellantis Trucks and SUVs From a Detroit Storage Lot by Simply Crashing Through a Fence

Brazen thieves broke into a Stellantis storage lot in Detroit and stole several trucks and SUVs by simply crashing through a fence. The storage lot is located near the Detroit Assembly Complex – Jefferson Stellantis plant.

The Detroit Police Department said the thefts occurred around 3 a.m. on Wednesday. The thieves reportedly stole several Ram pickup trucks, JeepSUVs, and DodgeDurangos from the temporary storage lot. It is unclear how the thieves accessed the lot.

According to local residents, crimes like this are far too common

“That’s so scary, man. The police have to do something about it, man,” Nirmarjat Singh told CBS News. “All over here is a bad area, man. They’re stealing all the time.”
