FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – A petition is making the rounds in a Fort Wayne neighborhood as residents near Coldwater Road try to stop QuikTrip from building a new gas station.
Residents tell 21Alive traffic is already a big problem in the area, and now they’re taking their fight to city leaders.
Door-to-door petition opposes gas station proposal
The proposed location sits northeast of I-69 and Coldwater Road. Neighbors in the adjacent Springwood subdivision say there is already too much traffic on Coldwater and they worry a gas station would make things worse.
