WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — A 27-year-old man was shot and killed Friday morning in the 2300 block of Quantum Court, and a suspect is in custody, the Winston-Salem Police Department said.
Police responded around 11:50 a.m. to a report of a shooting at 2376 Quantum Court, where they found Derek Devol Brandon II suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local hospital, where he later died.
