COMSTOCK TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A manufacturing plant near Galesburg is shutting down next month, costing 160 employees their jobs, a document from the Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity shows.
Grouper Acquisition Company, LLC, which operates as Shiloh Industries, announced Feb. 2 that it will close its Comstock Township facility on March 31. It did not provide a reason for its closure.
The 160 employees who will be laid off include accountants, technicians, welders and engineers among others.
