One person dead following vehicle crash in South Carolina

SOUTH CAROLINA — An eviction in the Conway area turned into a drug arrest Thursday after deputies discovered large quantities of narcotics and firearms inside a residence, according to the Horry County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies said they arrived at a home on Clemson Road to carry out an eviction when they found multiple pills, guns and ammunition inside the residence.

Authorities arrested Pamela Joan Lydia, 51, and charged her with trafficking fentanyl, trafficking methamphetamine, possession of a weapon during a violent crime and felony possession of a firearm…
