‘Serial killer in the making’: Conway teen’s family fights to keep her killer behind bars

CONWAY, S.C. (WBTW) — The killing of 17-year-old Crystal Faye Todd in 1991 sent shockwaves through the Conway community. Now, with her killer again eligible for parole, her family is still haunted by what happened.

Todd was just a typical teenage girl with her whole life ahead of her.

“She wanted to go to school to be a nurse,” her cousin Amber Alsdorf said. “I think she would have made a great one, considering how she helped granny and aunt Bonnie Faye.”…
