Goodlettsville’s RiverGate Mall closes for good after 54 years

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — RiverGate Mall has permanently closed, marking the end of a 54-year run as a retail and community hub.

In a social media post on Friday, Feb. 13, mall management announced the closure, writing, “Today we say goodbye to a place that was so much more than just a mall,” and thanking the community for decades of memories.

The announcement comes weeks after officials said the mall would not close at the end of 2025, despite widespread reports at the time. In late December, management said while most tenants were vacating by year’s end, several stores would remain open, and no official closing date had been set…
