A 45-year-old Ocala woman has been charged with aggravated assault after she allegedly struck her husband with her Jeep while he was walking in their neighborhood.
The male victim told a Marion County Sheriff’s Office deputy that on Friday, February 6, he had gotten into an argument with his wife, Krystal Simone Mason, inside their home. During that verbal altercation, the victim advised that he exited the residence at around 5:30 p.m. to “go for a walk” until “things cooled off,” according to the arrest report.
The victim alleged that he was walking along the roadway, near his home, when he heard Mason’s vehicle “speeding up towards him.” When the victim began to turn around, he recalled being struck by the vehicle, and the impact caused him to “black out.”…
