PENSACOLA, Fla. (WKRG) — Visitors to parks in Pensacola may have to adjust their times after the city instituted new park hours across the city.

New details released during bond hearing for kidnapping suspect in case of missing Theodore family

According to a City of Pensacola Facebook post, most city parks will now be open from sunrise to sunset, except for permitted special events and authorized sports leagues.

“Parks and Recreation staff completed a comprehensive review of hours at the City’s 95 parks to help ensure that the hours of operation track with the way residents use the facilities,” the city’s website said.

There are five exceptions: Admiral Mason Park, Community Maritime Park, Martin Luther King Plaza, Plaza Ferdinand, and Veterans Memorial Park will be open from sunrise until 10 p.m…
